Monotype on Stone

While making lithographs at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 1990,  I developed a process for creating monotypes which combines the unique qualities inherent in lithographic printing with viscosity inking techniques.  Essentially, I used both water and different consistencies of ink as resists while rolling up layers of colour on the stone.
